NVI-100

NVI-100 is a first-in-class, water-soluble peptide antagonist of the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor. It is specifically engineered for rapid subcutaneous delivery via autoinjector and is being developed for the acute treatment of migraine. The drug leverages proprietary peptide technology to enable fast absorption, high and consistent plasma levels, and aims to provide rapid relief from migraine attacks with improved tolerability compared to existing therapies. NVI-100 has completed Phase 1 clinical trials in healthy volunteers, demonstrating good tolerability and pharmacokinetics. The developer plans to advance it into Phase 2 clinical trials for migraine disorders[1][2][6].
