NVS451 is a recombinant fusion protein under development as an injectable therapy for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in both healthy volunteers and patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The precise mechanism of action has not been disclosed publicly as of June 2025. The drug is administered subcutaneously and was initially developed by Sinopharm Zhongsheng Biotechnology Research Institute.
