Overview

NW-8-124 is an investigative protein degrader developed by Guangzhou Lupeng Pharmaceutical using Proteolysis-Targeting Chimera (PROTAC) technology. It is designed to target and degrade Human Double Minute 2 (HDM2), also known as MDM2, a primary negative regulator of the p53 tumor suppressor protein. By facilitating the proteasomal degradation of HDM2, NW-8-124 aims to stabilize and reactivate p53, thereby inducing apoptosis and inhibiting growth in cancer cells, particularly in hematological malignancies. The drug is part of a pipeline focused on targeting key pathways in oncology through novel modalities.
