Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NW-BR CEPA PLUS is a live attenuated combination vaccine developed by FARVET for the prevention of Newcastle Disease and Infectious Bronchitis in poultry. The vaccine contains the LaSota strain of Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) and the Massachusetts strain of Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV) in a lyophilized (freeze-dried) format. Upon administration, the attenuated viruses replicate in the host, stimulating a robust humoral and cellular immune response without causing severe disease. This dual-action vaccine provides broad protection against two of the most economically significant viral respiratory pathogens in the poultry industry. It is typically administered via ophthalmic, oral (drinking water), or spray routes to ensure effective coverage across a flock.
