Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NWL-CSCs (Cardiac Stem-like Cells) is a personalized, autologous cell therapy being developed by New World Laboratories for cardiac regeneration and the treatment of cardiovascular indications. The therapy consists of cardiac stem-like cells generated from a patient's own somatic cells (such as skin or blood cells) through a proprietary direct reprogramming process. This method does not involve genetic engineering, distinguishing it from traditional induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) approaches. The mechanism of action involves the repair or regeneration of damaged cardiac tissue. NWL-CSCs is currently in the preclinical stage of development as part of a broader pipeline of personalized stem cell technologies.
