Overview
**NWT-03** is a novel egg-protein hydrolysate produced by enzymatic digestion of lysozyme from hen egg whites using the endoprotease enzyme Alcalase. It has been identified for its angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity and has shown potential to lower blood pressure, particularly in individuals with mild hypertension. NWT-03 is also investigated for its effects on cardiometabolic markers, arterial stiffness, and cognitive function in people with metabolic syndrome.
