NXC-4720 is an investigational, next-generation humanized chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD19 antigen, currently in preclinical development by Nexcella, a subsidiary of Immix Biopharma. Designed to treat various B-cell malignancies, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), NXC-4720 aims to overcome the limitations of first-generation CD19-directed CAR-T therapies, such as limited persistence and significant toxicities like cytokine release syndrome (CRS).
