Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NXD01 is an orally bioavailable, heterobifunctional proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) designed to degrade the WEE1 protein. Developed by neoX Biotech using its AI-empowered neoDegrader platform, NXD01 utilizes the cereblon (CRBN) E3 ubiquitin ligase to selectively target and degrade WEE1. WEE1 is a critical tyrosine kinase that regulates cell cycle checkpoints by phosphorylating CDK1, preventing premature entry into mitosis. By degrading WEE1, NXD01 induces mitotic catastrophe and apoptosis in cancer cells. In preclinical studies, NXD01 demonstrated potent anti-proliferative activity across multiple gynecological cancer cell lines and showed robust in vivo antitumor efficacy in uterine leiomyosarcoma xenograft models.
