Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NY-500 is a bispecific antibody designed to function as both a PD-1 inhibitor and a VEGF inhibitor. This dual mechanism targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) pathway, which plays a key role in immune checkpoint regulation, and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which is involved in angiogenesis. By inhibiting these two pathways, NY-500 aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses while also disrupting tumor blood supply. The drug does not have an FDA designation at this time[1].
