Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NY-Dual-IP (often evaluated as the radiolabeled PET probe [68Ga]Ga-NY-Dual-IP) is a heterodimeric, dual-targeting molecular imaging agent designed to co-target integrin αvβ3 and poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1). Developed by Nuoyuan Medical in collaboration with Nanjing University, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, and Anhui Medical University, the probe utilizes a sequential "binding-anchoring" mechanism. The tumor-penetrating iRGD peptide moiety binds to integrin αvβ3 on tumor cells and activated tumor vasculature, facilitating tissue penetration and internalization via the CendR pathway. Once inside, the niraparib moiety binds to the NAD+ pocket of nuclear PARP1, anchoring the probe within the tumor cells. This dual-targeting approach is designed to overcome tumor heterogeneity and enhance diagnostic imaging performance in solid tumors, such as breast cancer.
