NY-ESO-1 plasmid DNA is an investigational cancer vaccine that consists of a plasmid DNA encoding an immunogenic peptide derived from the cancer-testis antigen NY-ESO-1. The vaccine is designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells expressing NY-ESO-1.
