Overview

NY108 refers to a small-molecule ligand targeting the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), developed by Norroy Bioscience. It is used as a radiopharmaceutical, either labeled with lutetium-177 (177Lu) for therapeutic and SPECT imaging purposes or gallium-68 (68Ga) for PET/CT diagnostic imaging. The mechanism of action involves binding to PSMA, which is highly expressed in prostate cancer cells, enabling targeted delivery of radioisotopes for both diagnosis and therapy. The drug is under clinical investigation primarily for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer and other PSMA-positive prostatic cancers[1][2][5][6].
