NYH100P is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of mitochondrial complex I, under development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It is being investigated both as a monotherapy and in combination with the ALDH inhibitor NYH817G (the combination is also referred to as Starvanip or NYH817100). The mechanism of action involves inhibition of mitochondrial complex I, leading to disruption of cancer cell energy metabolism, induction of apoptosis and autophagy, and potential inhibition of cancer cell growth. The drug is being developed by Haim Bio, with clinical trials targeting patients who have failed standard therapies for advanced solid tumors[2][4][7].
