Overview

O-1369 is a synthetic cannabinoid research compound developed by Organix Inc. It functions as a potent agonist at both the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors. Structurally, O-1369 is a resorcinol derivative, specifically an analog of the CP 47,497 series of cannabinoids. It was designed to explore the structure-activity relationships of the cannabinoid system and has been shown to possess potent analgesic and cannabimimetic effects in animal models. Due to its high affinity and efficacy at cannabinoid receptors, it is widely used as a tool in pharmacological research to study the endocannabinoid system, though it has not transitioned into clinical development for human use.
