Overview

OB-220 is an investigational RNA-based therapeutic being developed by Ochre Bio for the treatment of significant liver fibrosis. Utilizing a small interfering RNA (siRNA) modality, OB-220 is designed to achieve targeted gene silencing within the liver to address the underlying drivers of fibrotic progression. The program is currently in the development candidate selection phase and leverages Ochre Bio's proprietary RNAi platform, which integrates deep phenotyping of human livers and ex vivo testing in human-organ-on-a-chip models to optimize clinical translation. While the specific molecular target of OB-220 has not been publicly disclosed, the therapy aims to provide a precision medicine approach to reversing or halting the accumulation of fibrotic tissue in chronic liver diseases.
