Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OB-X is a proprietary blend of botanical extracts from *Melissa officinalis* (lemon balm), *Morus alba* (white mulberry), and *Artemisia vulgaris* (mugwort) formulated as a dietary supplement for obesity and weight management. It is designed to reduce adipose tissue, particularly visceral fat, by inhibiting angiogenesis in fat tissue. The active components include rosmarinic acid, 1-deoxynojirimycin, and 6,7-deoxynojirimycin. Clinical studies have shown that OB-X can significantly reduce visceral fat and waist circumference in overweight individuals when combined with caloric restriction and exercise. The mechanism of action is primarily anti-angiogenic activity within adipose tissue[2][3][4].
