Overview
Oba01 is a monoclonal antibody targeting Death Receptor 5 (DR5), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10B (TNFRSF10B). Developed by Yantai Heyuan Aidis Biomedical Technology, the agent is designed to treat advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that expresses DR5. By binding to and clustering DR5 on the surface of tumor cells, Oba01 acts as an agonist to trigger the extrinsic apoptotic pathway, leading to programmed cell death. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary antitumor activity in patients who have progressed on or are intolerant to standard therapies.
