Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OBI-902 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by OBI Pharma using its proprietary GlycOBI platform, a glycan-based site-specific conjugation technology designed to improve stability and hydrophilicity. The drug specifically targets Trop-2, a cell surface antigen highly expressed in various solid tumors such as breast, ovarian, gastric, pancreatic, colorectal, and non–small cell lung cancers. OBI-902 carries a potent topoisomerase I inhibitor payload with a drug-antibody ratio (DAR) of 4. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that OBI-902 exhibits enhanced linker-payload stability, favorable pharmacokinetics, and superior antitumor activity compared to benchmark Trop-2 ADCs. The agent is currently being evaluated in phase 1/2 clinical trials for advanced solid tumors[1][2][5][9].
