This is an experimental combination regimen composed of three agents: **obinutuzumab** (a type II anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody), **atezolizumab** (an anti–PD-L1 monoclonal antibody), and **polatuzumab vedotin** (an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD79b with a microtubule-disrupting toxin MMAE). The combination is studied for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Obinutuzumab mediates B-cell lysis via direct cell death and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Atezolizumab blocks PD-L1 to reactivate anti-tumor immune responses. Polatuzumab vedotin delivers MMAE to CD79b-positive malignant B cells to induce apoptosis. The regimen is developed to provide synergistic cytotoxicity by combining immune checkpoint blockade, B-cell targeting, and targeted cytotoxin delivery[2][5][8].
