OBT542 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Oxford BioTherapeutics for the treatment of cancer. As an ADC, it is designed to utilize a monoclonal antibody to specifically target an antigen expressed on tumor cells, delivering a potent cytotoxic payload directly to the site of the disease while minimizing systemic toxicity. The drug was identified using Oxford BioTherapeutics' proprietary OGAP® (Oxford Genome Anatomy Project) database, which integrates proteomic and genomic data to discover novel tumor-associated antigens.
