OC-1 is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy developed by OneChain Immunotherapeutics. It involves genetically modifying a patient's own T-cells with a lentivirus to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that specifically targets the CD1a protein. Upon intravenous infusion, these engineered T-cells are designed to recognize and eliminate cancer cells expressing CD1a, primarily in patients with relapsed/refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL/LL).
