Overview

OC-IgT cells are an autologous cell therapy product consisting of T cells that have been genetically modified (immunogene-modified) to target ovarian cancer. Developed by the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute, the therapy involves the extraction of a patient's own T cells, which are then modified—typically using lentiviral vectors—to express specific therapeutic genes designed to enhance their anti-tumor activity against ovarian malignancies. This approach often utilizes the institute's 4th generation chimeric antigen receptor (4SCAR) technology. OC-IgT is currently being investigated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for the treatment of high-risk Stage III-IV ovarian cancer, focusing on safety, persistence, and clinical efficacy.
