Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OC201 is an AI-driven therapeutic candidate developed by Oncocross Co., Ltd. using its RAPTOR AI platform. It is being investigated for the treatment of pancreatic cancer, specifically to enhance the efficacy of the FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy regimen and suppress metastasis. OC201 functions by modulating the Hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) pathway and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-stemness axis. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that OC201, particularly when used in combination with OC202e, reduces the expression of stemness markers such as CD44 and Flotillin2, thereby overcoming multidrug resistance and reducing metastatic burden in hepatic models.
