ocaperidone

Ocaperidone is an experimental benzisoxazol piperidine antipsychotic drug. It primarily acts as a potent antagonist at serotonin 5-HT2 receptors and dopamine D2 receptors, and also functions as a 5-HT1A agonist. The compound exhibits high affinity for these targets (Kis of approximately 0.14 nM for 5-HT2, 0.46 nM for D2, and 0.75 nM for 5-HT1A). Its mechanism of action suggests potential use in the treatment of psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and other psychoses by modulating serotonergic and dopaminergic neurotransmission[6][10].
