Ociperlimab is a humanized immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody that targets the immune checkpoint receptor TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with immunoglobulin and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif domains). By binding to TIGIT, ociperlimab blocks its interaction with ligands CD112 and CD155 on tumor cells, thereby enhancing the availability of these ligands for the costimulatory receptor CD226 on immune cells. This leads to increased activation of T-cells and natural killer (NK) cells, promoting an antitumor immune response. Ociperlimab also induces antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and reduces regulatory T cell populations through Fc-mediated mechanisms. It is being developed primarily for various solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, liver cancer, cervical cancer, small cell lung cancer, squamous cell carcinoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and other advanced solid tumors[1][3][5][6][7].
