Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OctaHeal Colostrum is a nutraceutical supplement developed and marketed by Faran Shimi. It is composed of bovine colostrum, the first milk produced by cows after giving birth, which is naturally rich in bioactive molecules. Key components include immunoglobulins (primarily IgG), which provide passive immunity; lactoferrin, an antimicrobial protein; and growth factors such as IGF-1 and TGF-β, which support tissue repair and gut health. The product is used to enhance immune system response, maintain gastrointestinal barrier integrity, and support overall health. It is available as an over-the-counter product in the Iranian market.
