Overview

OCTR is a bispecific antibody (BsmAb) designed for retargeted T cell-mediated lysis, primarily investigated for advanced ovarian carcinoma. It functions by simultaneously binding to the CD3 receptor on T cells and the folate receptor expressed on ovarian carcinoma cells. This dual targeting mechanism aims to redirect the patient's own T cells to specifically recognize and destroy cancer cells, offering a novel therapeutic approach for patients who have relapsed after induction chemotherapy.
