Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OcuNASE is a bio-mimetic mucosal prophylactic barrier spray developed by cellNUA and its commercial partner Cellnutrition. Developed using cellNUA's proprietary BEEMAR platform, which combines honeybee-derived enzymes (such as lysozyme) with marine plasma, OcuNASE is designed as a 3-in-1 barrier spray for the eyes, nose, and throat. It forms a protective physical and biological barrier on mucosal surfaces to prevent the entry of broad mucosal pathogens, specifically targeting seasonal influenza and emerging coronaviruses. The product is positioned for commercial launch in 2026.
