Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Ocurest Plus Neo** is an approved sterile ophthalmic solution developed and marketed by Centaur Pharmaceuticals for the management of ocular allergy, non-infectious eye irritation, redness, and discomfort. It is a fixed-dose combination containing boric acid, glycerin, sodium borate, and zinc sulfate, along with cooling agents such as menthol and camphor. Boric acid and sodium borate serve as mild antiseptics and buffering agents to maintain physiological pH. Zinc sulfate acts as an astringent to reduce redness and congestion, while glycerin functions as a demulcent and lubricant to hydrate and protect the ocular surface. The formulation is administered topically as eye drops to provide rapid, soothing relief from environmental irritants like dust, smoke, and wind.
