Ocusilver is a medical device developed by Alfa Intes for periocular and ocular hygiene. It is a topical solution used to cleanse the eyelids and eye area, particularly in conditions such as blepharitis and meibomitis, or for pre- and post-operative care. The formulation contains colloidal silver nanoparticles (0.001%) for antimicrobial action, sodium hyaluronate (0.05%) for hydration and lubrication, and glycolic extracts of *Matricaria chamomilla* (chamomile, 0.22%) and *Euphrasia officinalis* (eyebright, 0.22%) for their soothing and emollient properties. While marketed as Ocusilver internationally, the product is sold under the brand name Silverix in the Italian market.
