Ocuvers Lipostamin

Ocuvers Lipostamin is a liposomal spray developed by Innomedis AG for the treatment of dry eye syndrome (DES). It is formulated with a phospholipid complex and a blend of natural plant extracts, including *Capparis spinosa* (caper), *Helichrysum italicum* (everlasting), *Euphrasia officinalis* (eyebright), and *Glycyrrhiza glabra* (licorice). The spray is designed to stabilize the lipid layer of the tear film, which is often deficient in patients with dry eye. Clinical studies suggest that Ocuvers Lipostamin effectively improves subjective comfort, tear break-up time (TBUT), and tear meniscus height, while also reducing conjunctival redness, potentially due to the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of its botanical components.
