Overview
ODC-αCD40 is a next-generation cytokine therapy developed by Trutino Biosciences, utilizing its proprietary On-Demand Cytokine (ODC) platform. This engineered fusion protein is designed to act as a CD40 agonist, remaining inactive systemically and becoming selectively activated at the disease site, such as a tumor. This targeted activation aims to stimulate tumor-fighting immune cells, promoting anti-tumor T cell responses and fostering cytotoxic myeloid cells, while minimizing systemic toxicity associated with conventional cytokine treatments. The drug is being developed for immuno-oncology and potentially autoimmune diseases.
