Overview

Odesivimab is a fully humanized IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that targets the glycoprotein (GP) on the surface of Zaire ebolavirus. It is used exclusively in combination with two other monoclonal antibodies, atoltivimab and maftivimab, as part of a fixed-dose regimen marketed under the brand name Inmazeb. The mechanism of action involves binding to distinct sites on the Ebola virus GP, thereby blocking viral attachment and entry into host cells and facilitating immune-mediated neutralization. Odesivimab is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by Zaire ebolavirus in adults and children, including neonates born to infected mothers[2][5][8]. The drug was developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.
