ODM-108 is an orally administered, selective and reversible negative allosteric modulator of the Transient Receptor Potential Ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) ion channel, developed by Orion for the treatment of neuropathic pain. It acts as a TRPA1 antagonist, aiming to inhibit the activity of this protein involved in pain signaling pathways. ODM-108 reached phase 1 clinical trials but was discontinued due to tolerability and pharmacokinetic concerns before progressing further[1][2][3][7][8].
