Overview

ODM-212 is an investigational oral small molecule drug developed by Orion for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It functions as a TEA domain family member (TEAD) inhibitor, blocking TEAD activity within the Hippo signaling pathway, which is implicated in tumor growth and resistance mechanisms. ODM-212 specifically targets cancers with YAP/TEAD activation, including those with genetic alterations such as NF2 loss-of-function, LATS1/2 loss-of-function, or YAP/TAZ fusions. The drug is currently being evaluated in first-in-human clinical trials to assess its safety and efficacy in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors[1][3][4][6].
