Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ODS2005294** is a potent and selective **LRRK2 kinase inhibitor** developed using Oncodesign's Nanocyclix® technology platform. It demonstrates strong inhibition of LRRK2 phosphorylation at S935, including ex vivo in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from G2019S Parkinson's disease (PD) patients and asymptomatic relatives, good in vivo oral exposure, and high brain penetration, crossing the blood-brain barrier effectively. Jointly discovered with Ipsen, it was advanced as a potential therapeutic for PD targeting LRRK2 mutations but has since been discontinued.[1][2][3][7][9]
