Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ODT-211 is an orally bioavailable, potent, and selective small molecule inhibitor of Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 (STAT6), currently under development by Odyssey Therapeutics. STAT6 is a key transcription factor that mediates signaling for interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are the primary drivers of Type 2 inflammation. By directly inhibiting STAT6, ODT-211 aims to provide a more targeted approach to treating Th2-mediated diseases compared to upstream cytokine-blocking biologics. The compound is being evaluated for the treatment of various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, with a primary focus on atopic dermatitis and asthma.
