ofatumumab + dexamethasone

Ofatumumab + dexamethasone is a combination regimen used primarily in the treatment of relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Ofatumumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting the CD20 antigen on B lymphocytes, leading to cell lysis through complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. Dexamethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties, which can induce apoptosis in certain hematologic malignancies and enhance the efficacy of monoclonal antibodies. The combination has shown promising overall response rates and complete remission rates in clinical trials for CLL, including patients with high-risk features such as p53 defects. The most common significant toxicity observed was infectious complications[1][4][8].
