Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OGD2024 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by OGD2 Pharma for the treatment of solid tumors. It specifically targets O-acetylated GD2 (OAcGD2), a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen. OAcGD2 is a derivative of the ganglioside GD2, which is highly expressed in neuroblastoma and other neuroectodermal tumors. Unlike GD2, OAcGD2 is not expressed on peripheral nerve fibers, which may allow OGD2024 to avoid the severe treatment-limiting pain (neurotoxicity) typically associated with anti-GD2 monoclonal antibodies. By conjugating a cytotoxic payload to an anti-OAcGD2 antibody, OGD2024 aims to deliver potent cell-killing agents directly to tumor cells while sparing healthy nerve tissue.
