Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OGD204 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by OGD2 Pharma. It targets O-acetylated GD2 (OAcGD2), a tumor-associated ganglioside highly expressed in neuroectoderm-derived tumors such as neuroblastoma, melanoma, and certain sarcomas. Unlike the parent GD2 ganglioside, OAcGD2 is not expressed on peripheral nerves, which suggests that OGD204 may avoid the dose-limiting neuropathic pain typically associated with anti-GD2 monoclonal antibodies. The ADC is designed to selectively bind to OAcGD2-positive cancer cells and internalize to release a cytotoxic payload, thereby inducing targeted cell death while minimizing off-target effects on healthy tissues.
