Overview

OHB-301 is a monoclonal antibody targeting the low-affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II-b (CD32B, also known as FcγRIIB). It acts as an antagonist of this inhibitory receptor. The drug is designed to crosslink the activating IgE receptor (FcεRI) with the inhibitory FcγRIIB on immune cells such as basophils and mast cells, thereby downregulating their activity. This mechanism has potential applications in treating autoimmune disorders by modulating immune cell activation. The drug was originally developed by SuppreMol and later licensed to Oak Hill Bio from Takeda. As of early 2025, it is in early phase 1 clinical development for autoimmune disorders[1][2][5].
