OIP5-AS1 small interfering RNA (siRNA) is a synthetic double-stranded RNA molecule designed to silence the expression of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) OIP5-AS1. In the context of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) research, OIP5-AS1 has been identified as a key regulator of the miR-410-3p/Wnt7b signaling axis. By knocking down OIP5-AS1, this siRNA inhibits the excessive proliferation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS) and modulates the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway, which is typically overactive in RA pathogenesis.
