Overview
Oléogrape SEED (branded as 'grape + olive') is a natural polyphenol extract derived from olive and grape seeds, developed by Grap'Sud Union and studied clinically by Nantes University Hospital. It is standardized to contain specific levels of hydroxytyrosol (from olive) and procyanidins (from grape seed). The product is investigated as a nutraceutical for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, where it aims to reduce joint inflammation and protect cartilage. Its primary mechanism of action is the modulation of inflammatory pathways, specifically through the inhibition of inflammatory mediators such as interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β).
