Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OL-108 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Oricell Therapeutics. It is engineered to target the CD19 antigen, a protein expressed on the surface of B-lymphocytes. The therapy is designed to treat severe, relapsed, or refractory autoimmune diseases by depleting pathogenic B cells, which aims to reset the immune system and reduce the production of autoantibodies. OL-108 utilizes Oricell's proprietary Ori-CAR platform, which is designed to enhance the proportion of memory T cells and improve the persistence and efficacy of the CAR-T cells. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for several B-cell mediated autoimmune conditions, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM), systemic sclerosis (SSc), and ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV).
