Overview

This is a combination of three atypical (second-generation) antipsychotic drugs—olanzapine, quetiapine, and risperidone. Each drug acts primarily as an antagonist at dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors, with additional activity at other neurotransmitter receptors. These medications are used individually for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions. The combination of all three in a single regimen is not standard clinical practice but may be considered in rare or refractory cases under specialist supervision. All three agents share similar mechanisms but differ in their receptor binding profiles and side effect risks.
