Overview
Olaparib-bodipy FL is a small molecule fluorescent imaging agent that combines the PARP inhibitor olaparib with the green fluorescent dye BODIPY FL. This modification enables its use as a highly selective probe for in vivo imaging of tumors that overexpress poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1), such as glioblastomas and cancers of the tongue and mouth. The compound specifically binds to nuclear PARP1 in cancer cells, allowing visualization through fluorescence imaging techniques.
