Oleiferoside B is a natural triterpenoid saponin compound isolated from the roots of *Camellia oleifera* Abel. As a small molecule research compound, it has demonstrated potential anticancer properties by inducing both apoptosis and autophagy in various cancer cell lines, notably liver cancer (SMMC-7721, BEL-7402) and breast cancer (MCF-7). Its mechanism of action involves the stimulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) release, which triggers programmed cell death pathways. In vivo studies have shown that oleiferoside B can suppress tumor growth at relatively low doses. Despite its bioactive potential, the compound is currently in the early stages of research and is not associated with a specific pharmaceutical developer or brand name.
