OliPass CTLA4 antisense oligonucleotide is an investigational immuno-oncology therapeutic developed using a proprietary Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) platform. The drug is designed to target Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA4), a well-characterized immune checkpoint that suppresses T-cell activity. Unlike conventional antisense oligonucleotides that rely on RNase H-mediated mRNA degradation, this PNA-based candidate utilizes an exon-skipping mechanism to modulate CTLA4 expression. By inhibiting the CTLA4 pathway, the drug aims to enhance the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells. The program is currently in the research and preclinical development stage.
