Olive leaf extract is a natural supplement derived from the leaves of the olive tree (Olea europaea). Its primary active compound is oleuropein. Traditionally used for its medicinal properties in Mediterranean cultures and beyond, it has been studied for potential benefits including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive (blood pressure-lowering), hypoglycemic (blood sugar-lowering), antimicrobial (antiviral and antibacterial), and cholesterol-lowering effects.
