Overview

OLN102 (also known as VBS-102) is a first-in-class bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting both the Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone Receptor (TSHR) and the Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor (IGF-1R). It is being developed by Ollin Biosciences in collaboration with VelaVigo for the treatment of thyroid eye disease (TED) and the underlying autoimmune condition of Graves' disease. Unlike existing therapies like teprotumumab (Tepezza) which only inhibit IGF-1R, OLN102 simultaneously blocks both IGF-1R and TSHR, potentially offering synergistic efficacy, improved safety, and more precise tissue targeting. The drug is designed for subcutaneous administration and is expected to enter clinical development in 2026.
